Cristiano Ronaldo’s former Cheshire estate has seen its asking price fall from about $7.4 million to $6.7 million after spending more than 18 months on the market.

The 23 acre estate in Alderley Edge was initially listed in 2023 for £5.5 million, equivalent to about $7.4 million based on the conversion used at the time. The asking price was later reduced by £500,000 to £5 million, or approximately $6.7 million.

The reduction highlights the challenges that can come with selling ultra luxury property, even when the home belongs to one of the world’s most recognisable football stars.
